Bobbin&Bash x Little Bees Sewing Club, After-School Sewing Club - Terms and Conditions
1. Enrolment and Registration:
- Parents or guardians must complete the registration process to enrol their child in the after-school sewing club.
- Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Fees and Payments:
- Fees are payable in advance on a termly or half termly, as specified during the registration process.
- Payments must be made by the specified due date to secure a place for the next term.
- Late payments may result in the withdrawal of the child from the club.
3. Cancellations and Refunds:
- Cancellations made before the start of the term will be eligible for a full refund.
- Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made after the start of the term unless due to exceptional circumstances, to be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
4. Attendance and Punctuality:
- Children are expected to attend the club regularly and arrive on time.
- Parents or guardians must notify the club in advance if a child will be absent.
- Parents should be outside, ready to collect their child at the advertised finish time.
- If you are running late to collect your child, please notify the owner.
- If you are regularly late to collect your child, your child may be withdrawn from class.
- If your child is unwell, please do not bring them into class.
- If your child misses a class due to being on holiday or sickness for example, you will forfeit the class. No refund will be offered. You may at the discretion of the owner be offered a catch up class. This must be taken in the same term or holiday as the class you are booked on to.
5. Code of Conduct:
- Children are expected to follow the club's code of conduct, promoting respectful and positive behaviour.
- Disruptive behaviour may result in a child being temporarily or permanently excluded from the club.
6. Health and Safety:
- Parents or guardians must inform the club of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements for their child.
- The club will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of participating children.
7. Liability:
- The club is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from a child's participation in club activities, except in cases of negligence by the club.
8. Personal Belongings:
- Children are responsible for their personal belongings.
- The club is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items brought to the club.
9. Food and Drink in class
- Your child may be permitted to bring a bottle of water to class and drink as and when they need it. It should be kept on the kitchen table away from the machines.
- Where possible please ensure your child has eaten prior to class starting so that they are not distracted by being hungry. Your child may be permitted to bring a light snack to class. Please note this should not be sweets or chocolate, but a savoury snack, biscuit or piece of fruit to tide them over until after class.
10. Photography and Media:
- The club may take photographs or videos for promotional purposes with parental consent.
- Parents may request in writing for their child not to be included in such media.
11. Communication:
- Parents will receive regular communication from the club, including updates on activities, schedules, and any important information.
- Parents are encouraged to communicate any concerns or queries with the club staff promptly.
12. Changes to Terms and Conditions:
- The club reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions with reasonable notice.
- Parents will be notified of any changes through the provided contact information.
13. Termination of Membership:
- The club reserves the right to terminate a child's membership for consistent breach of terms and conditions or disruptive behaviour.
By enrolling a child in Little Bees Sewing Club, After-School Sewing Club, parents or guardians agree to abide by these terms and conditions. It is the responsibility of parents to ensure they are familiar with and understand these terms.
